With New Years Eve being tomorrow night I was trying to think when was the last time we had a party at home, so I was flicking through photos and found these. This was the year we brought in 2013 with some of our friends and young children. This party was mainly for the kids and so it was a 10:30pm celebration.
The party was set up out on our back deck. I made a long low floor table using some old doors we had under the house. I made use of many cushions and covered everything in black fabric.
I made a fun Piñata using some recycled cardboard and gold ribbon, this was a hit with the kids. I also used recycled jars and wine bottles along the table as candle holders.
I had some plain gold and silver cheap party hats, that I turned into these fun New Years hats by adding a few things to them. I found that free printable from Pinterest.
I had a few extra fun things for us to use.
I had a balloon each hour for the kids to pop with a activity written inside for them to do.
I really had lots of fun creating these cool photo backdrop using and mixture of paper and paper ribbons.
So many different photos were taken in front of it but I will just share 3 instead of 300 heheh.
This section of the deck I had some photo props, a table set up for food and the fun extras.
Instead of filling these huge balloons with helium I made stands for them out of cardboard tubes and decorated them.
It looked so pretty all lit up at night and it was such a lovely night had by all.
So I hope you all have a great New Years Eve where ever you are and what ever you do to celebrate.
See you all in the 2017!!
