So tomorrow my husband and I are heading to Perth for 7 nights without our kids. We are going over for our friends wedding, but we also thought we would make use of the trip and see some of WA as well. This will be our first time away from our kids for this amount of time so I am especially feeling very unsure, nervous, scared and all the rest. I know they will be in good hands and I will miss them like crazy. But on the other hand my hubby and I don’t do many date nights so this will be a well needed time together.
We get into Perth tomorrow and will be catching a bus to the city where will check into Novotel Perth Langley for 2 nights, so we can explore around the sights of what the city has to offer.
On Wednesday we will check out of the Novotel, and pick up a hire car to head down to Fremantle to explore a little and grab some lunch. After we see some sights we will head down and check in to Smiths Beach Resort where we will stay for 5 nights. We chose to stay there as it is close to where the pre-wedding get together and the wedding will be held.
We are both looking forward to our time at Smiths Beach Resort as it looks stunning with beautiful sights for Mr photographer Darren to have his camera at the ready. Smiths Beach Resort is perfectly positioned on the golden sands of Smiths Beach overlooking the sparkling Indian Ocean. Nestled between Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin on the stunning Cape to Cape walking track, this architectural award-winning Resort provides an ideal retreat on a pristine beach that is lovingly tended and preserved.
So I am sure Darren will be in landscape heaven with having plenty to capture.
We are looking forward to helping celebrate at our friends wedding plus exploring this part of WA and the Margaret River region.

We will for sure do another blog post about our time when we get back.
